So here I am, six weeks into my unemployment, and I’m just starting to get my ducks in a row. Need to probably re-register with the Colorado Department of Labor as I haven’t contacted it since I first registered – too much contract work. But now that’s drying up and I’m ready to really hit it. These past weeks have been really good for me to get some perspective on the idea of being laid off from a job I could see nothing beyond. Hasn’t been easy, yet I’m excited about the opportunities out there that are presenting themselves one by one for anyone open to seeing them. More on that later!
